Waterproof jewellery
Every piece from the Mondays Child collection uses 316L Stainless steel. This metal does not rust, oxidise, and is tarnish resistant. Our jewellery is then plated with gold using an innovative plating process.
This process is 10x thicker than standard gold plating, and allows us to provide a 12 month quality promise on all our products. (see our quality promise for more info)
Unlike other popular jewellery materials like copper alloy, it is also hypoallergenic making it the perfect choice for people with sensitive skin.

Creating good quality, waterproof and tarnish resistant jewellery means that we vastly reduce your need to buy new pieces.
The gold plating process we use is environmentally friendly and super-efficient as opposed to more traditional methods such as electroplating.
We also partner with a company called Greenspark, who help us offset our carbon emissions, collect sea plastic and plant a tree with each order received.
Our jewellery is 100% recyclable! At least 60% of the stainless steel used for our pieces is made of recycled content.

Quality promise
At Monday’s Child we don’t play around the quality of our pieces. When we say our jewellery is waterproof and tarnishproof, we mean it.
So, if your jewellery tarnishes within 12 months since it's purchase, we will send you store credit on the value paid for them. Just send us a message with proof of date of purchase, and a picture of the jewellery.
We also partner with a company called Greenspark, who help us offset our carbon emissions, collect sea plastic and plant a tree with each order received.
Please note, this does not cover accidental damage or breakage.
